AKA IT’S ALLIIIIIIIVVVVE.
Well hello there. Some of you may know (many of you will not) that unfortunately, just after my birthday, I was recalled to my home planet to participate in urgent peace talks. To make the long journey and to preserve my youthful glow, I was frozen in carbonite. After single-handedly reuniting the warring nations of my planet I then travelled to Risa to recover from my hibernation sickness. I was also blind from the carbonite when I saved my planet.*
Yes, they have palm trees on Risa. Shut up.
Once I’d had my fill of tropical cocktails and the smell of other people’s toe cheese, I came home, only to find that the world had curiously continued to spin in my absence. It took me two whole days to get over this fact but it took me longer to get over the season finale of Once Upon A Time, to be fair. It’s all about perspective.
I have so much real news to share and I will do so soon, I promise. I’m still on pesky Risian time, but I’m planning a nice recap post wherein I’ll rip apart all of the shows and movies I’ve been watching, and tell you all about my new Dragon Age obsession. If you see me in the bushes over the next couple of days stalking you and your old posts please, pay me no heed. Until then, I’ll leave you with this Pug pic that Luke sent me and subsequently blew my fragile little mind.

Everything has been going quite well. My site (Not sure if you remember it) has been doing pretty well. In early april I moved it to 8BitChimp.com and got rid of that pesky wordpress within the title, lol.

Yeah, I went to Oz and NZ for about a month shortly after that post and have been in a bit of a writing funk ever since… However, I am pleased to say that after countless edits, proofs, re-edits, typeset changes… the book will be available from next week!
I’m hoping that the eBook might be out later this week too. But for the moment, the paperback is available to pre-order.
Hopefully people aren’t disappointed.

As for the format, I’m afraid I can’t help you out, my dear. I’m really not a fan of eBooks BUT… they’re cheaper, will be physically with you so much quicker than a paperback and erm… oh no wait, that was all I had!

It was hard the first few weeks–I would wake up in the middle of the night, covered in sweat, shaking, and painfully craving the vaguely confused face of a pug in a ridiculous costume. During these moments, I would tumble out of bed, sink to my knees, claw at the sky, and cry, “Why have you forsaken me, V?!” But after that, I managed to get by on the occasional pug Google search. But thank God you’re back. It’s just not the same as a Spew post.
